BAZINE — A. Elaine Gross, 77, died
Friday, May 21, 1999, at Grisell
Memorial Long Term Care Center,
Ransom, where she had been a resident
since 1994.
She was born Sept. 19,1921, to John
and Bessie (Ruff) Smith near Burdett.
She married Ruben Gross at Belle
Plaine, on Dec. 29,1940. He died July
24,1970.
She was a homemaker and a resident
of Bazine for 54 years. She was a
member of the First Baptist Church,
Bazine.
Survivors include: three sons, Terry
L. of Augusta, and Raymond and
Marvin, both of Bazine; two daughters,
Nadine Hinnergardt, Burdett,
and Debra Munsch, Garden City; a
brother, Calvin Roscoe Smith,
Colorado Springs, Colo; 16 grandchildren
and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m., Monday, at
the First Baptist Church, Bazine, with
the Rev. Larry Benedict officiating;
burial in the Bazine Cemetery.
Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City in charge of arragements.
Memorials are suggested to Grisell
