Randal "Bill" Evans, 75, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Sunday, June 16th, while in the company of family members, at Monroe County Health and Rehab Center, in Tompkinsville. Bill was born in Monroe County, KY on June 20, 1937, a son of the late Lizzie (Pollard) and Eli Evans. On April 20, 1959 at Carlos Carter's Home, he married Joyce (Hartley) Evans, who survives him. He was a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon.
He worked as a Auto Mechanic/ Car Detailer. He worked at many car dealerships throughout his life, but with Gillie Hyde in Glasgow for many years.
Bill is survived by a daughter, Alicea Rush, of Tompkinsville, KY; four sons Chuck Evans and his wife Mitzi, of Brentwood, TN; Rocky Evans and his wife Patricia, of Tompkinsville, KY; Randy Evans and his wife Peggy, of Tompkinsville, KY; Billy Evans and his wife Stacy, of Tompkinsville, KY; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren also survive. He is also survived by two sisters, Mary Finley, of Tompkinsville, KY; Margie Pickerell, of Tompkinsville, KY.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Eli and Lizzie Evans, 5 sisters; Geneva Anderson, Gladys Vibbert, Mae Bell Birge, Thema Evans and Ruby York. 3 brothers; Rex, Elmore and Jack Evans.
Funeral services will be held at Yokley Trible Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 19th, with Bro. Doug Copas and Chris Vinson officiating. Visitation is Tuesday after 3:00 P.M. and Wednesday 6:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home. Burial is in the Bailey Cemetery.
