McCORMICK. — Mrs. Emma Rice McCormick died at her home in Holliday, on Saturday morning, February 6th, 1886, aged 21 years and 4 days. Mrs. McCormick was well and favorably known to most of our people, as she was the daughter of the late Eld. Rice, and was almost raised in Paris. She had been a member of the Christian Church for seven years, and was an upright Christian. She leaves a husband and a three weeks old babe behind, and many warm friends who loved her for her christian virtues. Her funeral was preached by Eld. H. B. Davis, afte rwhich she was laid to rest beside her father in the Old Cemetery, at this place. We sympathize with the bereaved ones.
