Spring Garden Township — Eleanor Baird Horn of Spring Garden Township died at 4:30 p.m. March 12 at Rest Haven-York. She was 90. 

Mrs. Horn was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher. 

She was a member of the Garden Club of York and she was a founding member of the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers Auxiliary. 

She was a graduate of Altoona High School, Altoona, Blair County. She attended Lebanon Valley College, Annville. 

Born in Altoona, Dec. 29, 1908, she was a daughter of the late John and Minnie Morgan Baird. 

She leaves her husband, Russell E. Horn Sr.; a daughter, Rosalind H. Kunkel of York; two sons, Russell E. Horn Jr. and Ralph E. Horn, both of York; 18 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. 

A son, Robert E. Horn, is deceased. 

Visitation is 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Calvary United Methodist Church, 11 N. Richland Ave. The service is at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church with the Rev. Owen H. Walter officiating. 

Burial will be in Yoe Union Cemetery. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church, 11 N. Richland Ave., York 17404; or to the Robert E. Horn Memorial Scholarship Fund, Central Pennsylvania Conference United Methodist Church, 900 S. Arlington Ave., Harrisburg 17109.
