Susan "Sue" Plumbo Murdock, 51, of Parkersburg, died on Monday, June 17, 2013, at her home.

She was born Aug. 22, 1961, in St. Paul, Minn., to the late Raymond Joseph and Karla (Manders) Plumbo. Sue attended North Parkersburg Baptist Church, where she was very involved with the music and drama ministries. She was an active member in the Actors Guild in Parkersburg and the Mid-Ohio Valley Players.

She is survived by one son, Alexander R. Murdock; one daughter, Karaline E. Murdock; two sisters, Gina M. Fisher of Burnsville, Minn., and Mary K. Plumbo of St. Paul, Minn.; one brother, Joseph R. Plumbo of St. Paul, Minn.; and many friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Kelli Cawley, M.D.

Memorial contributions may be made to North Parkersburg Baptist Church, the Actors Guild, or the American Cancer Society.

The funeral service will be Thursday, June 20, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at North Parkersburg Baptist Church, with Pastor Mike Towner officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 19, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg.
