Died at the residence of her son S.T. Boon, near Williamsburgh,
Callaway Co. on the 19 of February, 1874, Mrs. Anna Boon, in the 86 th year
of age. Sister Boon was born in Henry County, Ky. March 3, 1788.
Married Capt. Samuel Boon in 1804. Moved to Missouri in 1818. Lived
with her husband to the time of his death September 19, 1869-

Ann Simpson was the daughter of James Simpson. On November 20, 1804 she married Samuel Boone in Gallatin County, Kentucky. They migrated to Callaway County, Missouri. They were the parents of Jeptha Vining, Mary America, Maxmilla, Martha Linville, Elizabeth Copher, and Samuel Tucker Boone. The couple lived with son Samuel Tucker and family when they were in their elderly years.
