Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Memorial Park South Chapel with interment following at Alta Vista Cemetery.
Mr. Hodges was born October 27, 1935 to the late Oliver & Estelle Hodges in Fulton County.
He served in the Army and was a Machine Operator for Lucent Technologies.
Mr. Hodges was also preceded in death by brothers, Clyde Hodges, Robert Hodges and Johnny Mendez; and sisters, Cola Mae Mintz and Lois Hodges.
Survivors include: son, Reginald Hodges of Tucker; sons & daughters-in-law, Keith & Yvette Hodges of Gainesville, Hirin & Sharon Hodges of Flowery Branch, and Felix & Karen Hodges of Kileen, Texas; daughter & son-in-law, Vanedra & Major General Leslie C. Smith of Fort Leonardwood, Missouri; daughters, Miranda Sykes of Flowery Branch and Fertina Brown of McDonough; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Gwendlyn Banks of Gainesville; and several nieces & nephews.
