Carter, known for his unique laugh, his hands folded together for prayer, lifting his hands toward heaven saying ''Hallelujah'', or rocking and singing ''Yes Jesus love me'' or ''I love you, You love me''. He pretended to read books by dragging his little finger across the pages with muffled words.
Carter was affectionately known as ''ChinaBoy'', ''Whoopdie'', ''Carte'' , ''Fatboy'', and ''Kramer''. He loved to play with his brothers and cousins, drumming, and cars. He would watch the birds and play with puppies.
Carter was preceded in death by his grandfather Walter Alex White; grandmother Donzell Scott and uncle Troy White.
He leaves to mourn: his mother, Christina White; his father, Rashaw Scott: two brothers, Javon Shipley Jr. and Rashaw Scott Jr.; his grandmother, Evelyn White; grandfather, Harold Omar Johnson; great grandmother, Catherine Scott; his godmother, Ariel Carrington; dear great aunt, Theresa Glover; dear great uncle, James Phillips; and host of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
