William A McQueen 3rd, only child of Mr. and Mrs. William A McQueen, Jr. died suddenly at his home.
A sophomore at Cornell University, Billy was 19 years old and an honor graduate of Sharon High School Class of 1965. While at Sharon High he was a member of the National Honor Society and the debating, radio, science and math clubs as well as the forensic league. He served as president of the chess club and played on the school chess team. He was a member of the school golf team for three years.
In addition to his parents, William A and Albeth (Hayden) McQueen, Billy is survived by his grandmother, Mrs. Jane McQueen of West Roxbury.
