Ted Cochran, 65, died June 15, 2013 in Pampa.

Services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, with Rev. Rick Timmons, pastor of Central Baptist Church of Canadian, and Rev. Doug Hixson, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mr. Cochran was born August 8, 1947 in Wellington. He had been a resident of Pampa for 63 years, moving in 1960 and attending Pampa schools. Ted married Lea Ann Timmons on June 26, 1970 in Pampa. He began his career with Curtis Well Service and then went to work for Coltexo in 1975, working at the Lefors plant for 37 years while it underwent 13 different name changes, with the last change being Eagle Rock Energy. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, the National Hotrod Association, and the Pampa Optimist Youth Club. He and Lea Ann were foster parents for the State of Texas for many years. Ted was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and will be truly missed by many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester C. and Opal Winegart Cochran; his brother, Danny Cochran; and his father-in-law, Tony Timmons.

Survivors include his wife, Lea Ann Cochran of the home; 2 sons, Eric Cochran and wife Tera of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Jason Cochran and wife Sondra of Pampa; a daughter: Erica Sheffield and husband Sam of Pecos; 4 brothers, Dexter Cochran of White Deer, Mar Cochran, Ed Cochran and Kirby Cochran, all of Pampa; 3 sisters, Carolyn Nelson of Nacogdoches, LaGwenda Walker and Lesa Greer, both of Pampa; 5 grandsons, Bryce Cochran of Lubbock, Justin Cochran of Panhandle, Ransley Cochran of Wheeler, and Dalton Cochran and Sterlin Sheffield, both of Pecos; 3 granddaughters, Bella Wright of Pampa, Sorrel Shay Sheffield of Pecos, and Chancee Faith Cochran, soon to be of Pampa.

Memorials may be made to Interim Hospice, 2217 Perryton Parkway, Pampa, Texas 79065.
