Growing up in Mapleton, Ricky Lyn Parry was born in Provo, Utah, a son of John and Dorothy Parry. Attending Springville High, later BYU, he loved the outdoors. Devoted to his children and grandchildren, he loved hunting and fishing with them. Survived by his six children: Troy (Christy) Parry, Shaun (Keelie) Parry, Mindy (Jason) Hunt, Stephanie Hamilton, Stacy Weaverling, and Shannon (Gilbert) Fuentes; 11 grandchildren; 3 brothers: Roger (Maxine) Parry, Randy (Louise) Parry and Rex Gull. His parents, John and Dorothy Parry and a brother, Alan Parry, preceded Ricky in death.
