HARTFORD — Christopher Shawn Arnold, 37, of Hartford died Saturday, June 15, 2013, at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville. He was born January 6, 1976, in Ohio County to Debbie Calloway Arnold and the late Clifford Lee "Stuffy" Arnold. Chris attended Nelson Pentecostal Church in Nelson Creek.
He was a cook at Lil Stevie's Pizza, loved fishing, being with his children and family and always enjoyed life.
Survivors include his wife, Leah Gaynell Edge Arnold of Hartford; three sons, Christian Arnold and Shawn Arnold, both of Beaver Dam, and Willie Daugherty of Hartford; six daughters, Avity Arnold of Horse Branch, McKaylee Howard, McKenzie Howard, McKristen Howard, Aleah Arnold and Sara Arnold, all of Hartford; one brother, Chad Arnold of Beaver Dam; one sister, Katie Arnold Davis of Owensboro; and father- and mother-in-law Kenny and Brenda Edge of Hartford. Chris is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as many extended family members and friends.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home, with Bro. Paul Uzzle officiating. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday. Burial is at Old Bethel Church Cemetery in Ohio County.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Chris' memory to Leah Arnold, 316 Locust St., Hartford, KY 42347.
