Albert E. Kent died at Genoa last Wednesday at the home of his niece, Mrs. E. L. Burk, where he was visiting. Mr. Kent was the senior member of the Kent Cattle company. He was 70 years of age and was called the pioneer packer of the west. His remains were taken to Chicago for interment.
Tuesday at Genoa occurred the sudden death from heart failure of Mr. Wm. Kent, principal stock holder in the Kent cattle company. The deceased was 76 years old and his death was not unexpected as he has been a sufferer for years from heart disease.
His home was in California, and he was in this county visiting relatives. His remains were taken to Chicago for interment.
