Mildred Ostler Jones, our beautiful and most precious mother and grandmother, died Thursday August 2, 2001 in Sandy, Utah.

Born January 17, 1914 in Springville, Utah to Charles Robert and Margaret Boyack Ostler.

She was the eighth of 13 children.

She married Joseph Ralph Jones on September 18, 1933, he died April 19, 1974, she was later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on May 8, 1975.

She is survived by her children, Colleen (Jay) Hendricksen, Sandy, UT, David (Colleen) Jones, West Valley City, UT, Michael R. Jones, Taylorsville, UT, Barbara (Darrol) Carter, West Valley City, UT; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Sister Tess Bird, Mt. Pleasant, UT. Preceded in death by a son, Robert.

Funeral services will be held Monday noon at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St., where friends and family may call Sunday from 5-7 p.m. and Monday from 11-11:45 a.m. Interment Murray City Cemetery.
