JoAnn Alice (Buchanan) Lance, 50 of 615 E. 133rd St., died Thursday following a long illness.
Born in Tacoma, Mrs. Lance had worked for a telephone company in California for 15 years before returning to Tacoma three months ago. She was a member of Our lady Queen of Heaven Church.
Survivors include a son, Robert Ruhl, a brother, James Edward Buchanan, her mother, Mrs. Hazel Buchanan, and two grandchildren, all of Tacoma.
Marlatt Mortuary of Kent is in charge.
