Chris passed away June 14, 2013, in Wills Point, TX.

Chris Butler Roberts was born May 12, 1920, in Benton County, AR, to the late John Albert Roberts and Nell Langham Roberts. He married Viola Beltz and they later divorced. Chris served his country in the United States Navy from 1938 to 1945, and served in World War II. Upon returning home he found employment with Westinghouse Jet Engine Division and then with A T&T, as a tool and dye maker. His employment with AT&T took him to several different cities, eventually settling in Garland. Chris retired in 1984, and moved to Wills Point to live near his daughter. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and was a member of the Wills Point Masonic Lodge. He was also a member of the Brandon Carroll Society, the Telephone Pioneers of America, the National Rifle Association, and Seven Oaks Baptist Church in Wills Point.

Chris is preceded in death by his parents, as well as a son, Chris C. Roberts; sister, Doris Bailey; and half-brothers, Herman Roberts and Rick Beltz.

He is survived by a his daughter, Lois "CiCi" Fletcher of Fruitvale; grandchildren, Tina Burggess, Russell Harbert, Molina Steffey and De laney Wagerle; several great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
