Wanda Jean Sims Hutcherson, 90, passed away at home June 14, in San Antonio. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 17, in Sonora Cemetery in Sonora, Texas. She was born April 22, 1923, in Snyder and married West Texas rancher, James Hutcherson in 1942. After moving to Haltom City, she worked at Monnig's and Striplings Department store and at the Bank of North Texas. In 1965 she was honored by the Birdville School District with a life membership in the PTA. She was preceded in death by her husband; and granddaughter, Shay Hutcherson. She is survived by her children, James and Judy Hutcherson, Bryan and Dana Hutcherson, Betty and Joe Wallace and Gayle Hutcherson; and her granddaughters, Alexis and Ali Hutcherson; and a large extended family. The family requests memorials to a charity of choice .
