David "Butch" Legrande Paige Mr. David "Butch" Le-grande Paige died on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at the McLeod Hospice House after an illness. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm. Tuesday, June 18 at Pee Dee Baptist Church in Pamplico, directed by Ideal Funeral Parlor, Inc. Burial will follow at Pee Dee Memorial Cemetery. He was born in Dillon County, a son of David and Minnie Flager Paige. He attended the public schools of Dillon County. He was a member of Pee Dee Baptist Church and was employed with McElveens Body Shop. Survivors include his wife, Maude Paige; three children, David Paige, Mark Paige, and Shirel (Noel) Vanderpool; eight grandchildren, two grandchildren raised in the home, William Graham and Porsha Graham; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Mildred; Bernice Davis, Dora (Alphonso) Arthur, Carolyn Pugh; brothers, Larry (Mary) Paige, Freddie (Rosella) Paige, Andrew Paige, Willie Paige, and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at the home, 464 E. 6th Avenue, Apt. 2-C, Pamplico. Viewing will be 1:00-6:00 p.m. today at the funeral home.
