Harold N. Belcher, 74, of Quincy, passed away at his residence on June 14, 2013. He was born on July 17, 1938 at Carlyle, Clinton County, Illinois and was the son of the late Herschell Noah and Zelma Salina (Meyer) Belcher.

He married Eleanor (Goldsborough) Belcher on September 6, 1959 and she survives. He is also survived by his children, Kathy Goss and husband, Gary, of Terre Haute and Ronald Belcher and wife, Lori, of Gosport; his sisters, Evelyn Schmollinger of Vandalia, Illinois and Marlene Harmon, of Centralia, Illinois; his brother, Howard Lee Belcher of Vandalia, Illinois; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.

He was a member of the Cataract Missionary Baptist Church and a retired farm manager for the Indiana Department of Corrections at the Putnamville Corrections Facility. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the United States Army.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be in the Cloverdale Cemetery.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-greatgranddaughter, Charleigh Powers; his niece, Sharon Loyall; and nephew, Ronald Siebert.
