CEDAR RAPIDS - Nicole Lynn Taylor, 19, and her infant daughter Alice, departed this life on Sunday, September 10, 2000, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Funeral Mass will be held at
10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2000, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, La Marque, Texas, with Msgr. T Joseph Culver, officiating.
Burial will follow at Mainland Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. followed by a wake from 7 to 8:00 p.m., today, September 15, at E.R. Johnson Family Mortuary.
Ms. Taylor was born December 1, 1980, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to the union of Bailey Sr. and Elizabeth Taylor. She was a former resident of La Marque and was employed with Krogers and Gulf Greyhound Park while living there. She later moved back to Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bailey Taylor Sr. and her grandparents, Leslie and
Alice Clark. She leaves to cherish memories of her life, her mother Elizabeth Taylor of Galveston; brother, Bailey Taylor Jr. of Cedar Rapids; and stepbrother, Bernard Taylor of California; sisters Joyce Ann Taylor of Debuke, Iowa, and Myrtle Weem of Mississippi; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
