Mrs. Elizabeth A. Ritzhaupt, 77, of 615 B. St., Fairbury, NE died May 27, 1972 at an Omaha Hospital, following an extended illness.

The daughter of Carl and Emilie Fandrei Traeger, she was born Feb. 29, 1895, one of the couples 12 children. On Jan. 29, 1919, she married Charles Ritzhaupt, who preceded her in death on Jan. 10, 1968.

On June 30, 1920, she became a member of the Fairbury Christian Church. The Ritzhaupts participated in the music service of the church for many years, by each playing and instrument in the church orchestra.

Surviving are her sister, Mrs. Antonia Feith and Brother, Otto Traeger both of Fairbury; sister-in-laws, Mrs. Emma Diller, formerly of Fort Calhoun, Mrs. Beatrice Traeger of Fairbury and Mrs. Arthur Ritzhaupt of St. Anthony, Idaho and 20 nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were May 13 in the Christian Church with Rev. Richard Waldron officiating. Pallbearers were Clarence Diller, Deyo Traeger, Eugene Traeger, Marvin Traeger, Chris Traeger and John H. Stolting. Interment was in the Fairbury Cemetery.
