Glenn "Mr. Glenn" Hicks

A celebration of life for Glenn Howard Hicks, "Mr. Glenn," 56, of Longview, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at the Circle C Cowboy Church, located at Hwy. 322 at FM 850, with Bro. Pat Alphin officiating.

Glenn passed away Saturday, September 11, 2010, from an illness he battled courageously.

Glenn was born July 8, 1954, in San Angelo, Texas.

He was an outrider at Circle C Cowboy Church and a retired supervisor from LeTourneau Technologies.

Glenn was a blessing to everyone he met. He was a devoted dad and a loving husband. He loved the Lord, and his daily life was an example of that love.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Kimberly of Longview; daughter, Lacie Hicks of Louisville, Ky.; sons, Jonathan Denton and Logan Denton of Longview; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Annie Hicks of Sweetwater; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Richard Wright of Rotan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2010, at Welch Funeral Home.

The family requests memorials be made to the Circle C Cowboy Church Building Fund, PO Box 22, Henderson, TX 75652.
