Nellie was born on Oct. 4, 1915, in Marietta, to Karl and Josephine Meister.
During World War II she worked at the Sylvania Plant, assembling aircraft propellers.
Nellie had a love of socializing and kept an active lifestyle into her 90s. She will be well remembered for her daily outings to the local McDonald's.
Nellie will be missed by her many nieces, Jacqueline "Jackie" (Don) Parker, Sharon "Sherry" Reed Adams, Judy Wagner Neader, Peggy Wagner McBride, Diane Wagner Reed and Jane Hill Trautner.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Marietta Convalescence Center for their compassionate care.
Services were private at Nellie's request. Burial at East Lawn Memorial Park.
