Winnie Louise (Win L) Brown, 89, of Hernando, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at her residence in Hernando.
Funeral services were held at 10:30a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at Athens Baptist Church in Mendenhall.
Burial was in Athens Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 10a.m. til service time at 10:30a.m.
Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include a sister, Shirley McLendon; Step-sons, Gerald (Marsha) Brown and Charlie Brown; nephews, Michael (Vickey) McLendon and David McLendon, Hernando; great nephews, Hunter and Sadler McLendon; great niece, Meadow Claire McLendon; four step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild; aunt, Silas Reed, and a number of cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marlin Toney and Ruth Garner Toney; husbands, Grover Ratcliff and Frank Brown; and a stepson, Rudy Brown.
Pallbearers were Michael McLendon, Hunter McLendon, Sadler McLendon, Gerald Brown, Charlie Brown, and Bryce Brown.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be mae to Athens Cemetry Fund.
