Abigail was born February 27, 2013, in Buncombe County. She was the daughter of Joshua Alan Byrd and Michelle Lee Jack.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her brother, Joshua Byrd, Jr.; and her sister, Ashley Byrd; maternal grandparents, Mitch and Debby Jack; paternal grandparents, Ricky and Connie Byrd, and Terra Norton; aunts, Jennifer Jack, Tiffany Gann, Jessica Burgin and husband Bryant and their son Kye; uncle Kyle Byrd; and aunt Andrea McGuire and her daughter Emily.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, June 17, 2013, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Rev. Roger Griffin officiating. Burial will be in Gibbs Family Cemetery, Mars Hill.
