REMAINS OF ALEX M'FADDEN INTERRED HERE
The earthly remains of the late Alexander McFadden were interred in the Fairview cemetery at this place Monday afternoon. Rev. T. T. Heimarck officiated at the somewhat rare ceremony, in the presence of a few friends of the Haerem family.
Mr. MacFadden lived in Story City in the early thirties, being married to the older daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Haerem.* The past years he and his family have lived in Tennessee, he having a position as engineer in the famous Tennessee Valley electrical development.
He died in Tennessee October 22, 1944. His body was cremated and the ashes interred in the Haerem family plot in the local cemetery.
