Wm Peek spent the years of his childhood and youth in Coffey county He was the youngest of six children of Charles R & Dollie Goldsmith Peek. He was born June 12, 1917 and Passed away Nov 11, 1980 at the Osceola Hospital at age 63
After he finished school he was employed by Rearwin Airplanes and later by North American Aviation in Kansas City.
Bill married Dorothy F Cramer in Kansas City Jan 8, 1944 to this union one son was born Gary Robert. After serving 3 years in the Navy he worked for KC Mo School district as a maintenance foreman on building upkeep
He spent the last several years in Osceola where he worked in Building and construction until his health failed`
