Timothy Alan Evans Sr., 47, of Lexington and formerly of Avon, died Friday, June 14, 2013, at Patient's Choice Medical Center of Humphreys County, Belzoni. Burial will be at Lakeview Gardens, Greenville. Boone Funeral Home, Greenville, is in charge of arrangements.
Evans was born in Avon and graduated from Riverside High School. He attended Mississippi Delta Community College and Delta State University. He was employed for 20 years with the Delta Branch Experiment Station in agriculture research and later worked for Stoneville Research and Development. He was an active member of Alexander Memorial Baptist Church.
