SUMTER - Graveside services for Lenora O. Dowd , 89, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the home. Elmore-Hill-McCreight Funeral Home is in charge.
Mrs. Dowd , widow of J. Shealy Dowd , died Monday. Born in Elizabeth City, N.C., she was a daughter of the late William Trotman Cartwright and Christian Elizabeth Thornton Cartwright.
Surviving are daughters, Ann McIntyre, Betty Bulsterbaum; grandchildren, Michael McIntyre, Andrea Fickling, Sharon Vermeland, Tony McIntyre, Lisa Lemacks; seven great grandchildren.
