Billie Catherine Murphy entered into the Lord's House January 13, 2013 to be with her deceased husband Olen L. Murphy on the Anniversary of their 73rd year of marriage. Born November 28, 1922 in Howe, Texas to Lura and Walker J. Pullen, mom moved to California as a little child when her father found work with the WPA. The family settled in Visalia circa 1936 and this is where she met and married Olen. They had two children Linda Kay and Olen Jr. Billie had three younger brothers: Bob Pullen (Jean), Jack Pullen (Nadine-deceased) and previously deceased Charles Pullen (Shirley). Mom loved a good joke, a funny card and a hardy laugh. She will be well remembered as one who never failed to send a card, with a little something extra enclosed, for each of her loved ones' special days. She enjoyed remaining in contact with her close relatives and friends via phone and letters, and she will be dearly missed by all who remembered her kindness and generosity. Mom leaves a legacy of: Grandchildren, Sherrie Anderson, Steven Anderson (Darla), Stacey Anderson (deceased), Scott Anderson, Ryan Grossman, and Jon Eric Murphy (Deanna), 6 Great Grandchildren, numerous cousins and surviving relatives as well as many people she touched in her 90 plus years of life.
