Frankie "Tippy" Rhodes, 82, of Midway Road between Hazel and Murray died at 10:59 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2002, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.

Locally, she leaves a sister, Modena Owens of Paris.

Services are scheduled at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Imes-Miller Funeral Home in Murray.

The Revs. T. W. Merrell and Paul McWherter will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery.

Born Feb. 15, 1920 in Henry County, she was the daughter of the late Taylor and Katie Fielder Willoughby. She was the widow of William A. "Pete" Rhodes.

Mrs. Rhodes was a member of Hazel Baptist Church.

Besides her sister, she leaves two sons: Charles (Nancy) Rhodes and Edgar (Mry Lou) Rhodes, both of Murray;

Five grandchildren: Greg and Roger Rhodes, both of Murray, Felecia Robertson of Mayfield, Eddie Rhodes of KNoxville and Debbie Black of Manassas, VA; and five great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by three sisters; and four brothers.
