Mrs. Cindy Louise Jones Howard
(April 25, 1951 - December 29, 2010)

Cindy Louise Jones Howard was born in Madison County, Alabama on July 25, 1951 to John Ed and the late Mable Louise Jones. She was married to her "sweetheart", Kennedy Howard who passed away in December 2002. On Wednesday, December 29, 2010, Cindy rejoined Kennedy as she transitioned to her eternal reward.

Cindy accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age, and joined the Beaver Dam Primitive Baptist Church in Toney, Alabama. After returning to Huntsville, she was reunited with Beaver Dam and remained a faithful member until her death.

Cindy was educated in the Madison County system. She was employed at Alabama A&M University for several years. Cindy loved to cook and do "find-a-word" puzzles. She loved to watch wrestling, even though it was just entertainment. Cindy loved to talk on the telephone and fixing her hair. She loved and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her precious memories and love will linger in the hearts of her devoted daughter: Sherry Martina Jones, Huntsville, AL; father: John Jones of Huntsville, AL; eight sisters: Ann Jones, Yvonne (Willie) Butler, Eleanor (Willie) King, Earline Jones Collier, Mattie (Claude) Briggs, Mary (Rolando) Moore, Pamela Jones, all of Huntsville, AL and Yvette Baker of Denver, CO; two brothers: Columbus (Sallie) Jones of Huntsville, AL and CWO4 Ernest Jones of Memphis TN; mother-in-law: Elizabeth Howard Culpepper of Columbus, GA; one sister-in-law: Patricia (Andre) Garrett of Milledgeville, GA; four brothers-in-law: Robert (Rebecca) Tuck of Huntsville, AL and Jeffery (Patricia) Howard, Ronald (Loretta) Howard and Orlando Howard (Cynthia) all of Birmingham, AL; grandchildren: Tuesday, Tiara and Martez Jones; two great grandchildren: Ze`Kerah and Za`Kariah Jones; special niece: Katherine Ragland; special friends: Karen Johnson, Diane Thomas, Glenda Robinson and Bessie Smith and host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 1, 2011, at Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Association Tabernacle (6378 Pulaski Pike, Huntsville, AL 35810) with Pastor Theodore Bone officiating. Interment will be in Meadowlawn Garden of Peace. Mrs. Howard will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.

Public Viewing will be 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 31, 2010 and from 8:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 1, 2011 at the Royal Funeral Home.
