Ervin Alfred Clouse died Feb 8, 1998 at Great Plains Regional Medical Center, He was 87.
He was born Feb 16, 1910 at Bartley to John and Frieda grosch Clouse. He attended school at Bartley. He helped his father in the Blacksmith shop until his fathers death on July 18, 1930. He then helped his brother Gottlieb. On Nov 6, 1940 he Married Orabelle Tilgner. They moved to Los Angeles, where he worked at Lockheed Aircraft in Burbank, California. He retired in May 1975. The couple moved to North Platte in Sept 1987. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on Nov 6, 1990.
Mr Clouse was a member of Eagle Aerie 2839 in North Platte.
Survivors include his wife, six nieces and nephews, a sister Carolyn Pinault of Loveland, Colorado, and a brother Carroll Hiatt of North Platte.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, six sisters and two brothers. Memorial may be given to the Methodist Church in Bartley. Services will be at 11 am today at Lockenour-Jones mortuary in Cambridge with Pastor Art Phillips Officiating. Burial will be in the Bartley Cemetery.
