Don Keith Morgan, 75, of Copperas Cove, Texas, passed away June 13, 2013. He was born July 16, 1937, in Mt Calm, Texas to Jimmy Morgan and Annie Riley. He was a proud member of the U.S. Air Force. Don spent most of his youth in the Axtell, Texas and Waco, Texas area. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force on July 23, 1958. During his early military years, he travelled throughout Western Europe. After marrying his beloved wife, Charlotte, they returned to England where they established their family. The Morgan family spent the balance of his military career in Taiwan, Georgia and finally returning to Texas to retire at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio on October 1975. Don spent approximately 15 years with Big State Pawn at various positions from store manager to regional management. After the loss of his wife, Don spent the reminder of his years enjoying his western paperbacks books, neighbors and ultimately his roommate. He is survived by his two children, Donna Morgan of Copperas Cove, Texas and David Morgan & wife Theresa, grandson Alex of Austin, Texas and brother-in-law Charles Bunnell & wife Tana. Including his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Charlotte. The family will receive visitors June 21, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Killen Memorial Park Mausoleum. Funeral services will be held at same location immediately following visitation.
