Timothy I. Morrow, age 59, of Yankton, South Dakota, died unexpectedly on Thursday, June 13, 2013 in Yankton.

Tim was born April 22, 1954 in Wahoo, Nebraska to Raymond and Betty (Kumpf) Morrow. He grew up in Columbus, Nebraska and graduated from Columbus High School in 1972. Tim attended University of Nebraska-Lincoln, transferred to Platte Community College in Columbus and graduated from Kearney St. College with a degree in business. Tim then went to work for Vishay Dale Electronics, spending the first 5 years in York, Nebraska and the next 30 years in Yankton where he ended his career as the purchasing manager. His job took him all over the world, including Germany, Israel, France, Mexico and Asia. On August 26, 1989, Tim married Denise Hochstein, daughter of Daryl and Aggie Hochstein. Tim was a diehard Husker football fan and loved traveling to the games and tailgating with his friends and family. He enjoyed golfing and was a member of Fox Run Golf Course. For 15 years, he and Denise hosted the annual Husker Tailgate Open, a golf tournament for all their friends and family. Tim enjoyed baseball and watching the Atlanta Braves. He enjoyed reading, listening to music and was a big Jimmy Buffet fan. Tim had a wonderful ability to easily make lifelong friends and always looked forward to the annual trip to Cancun with them. Finally, his wife, daughter, grandchildren and family were such an important part of his life and he treasured the time spent with them. He will forever be remembered.

Tim is survived by his wife, Denise Morrow; daughter, Kelly Morrow; two grandchildren, Kayden and Khloe Morrow, all of Yankton; Kay Morrow (Kelly's mother); sister, Patty Mossman of Columbus, NE; an aunt and several nieces, nephews and cousins as well as Denise's extended family.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers are Jared Adsero, Denny Fleer, Dean Gengler, Sam Huff, Adam Schilousky, Bob Thiele, Larry "LT" Thranum and Tim Torczon. Honorary pallbearers are all his Husker friends and Vishay Dale Electronics family.
