The body of Mrs. Adeline Alewine, who died at the Confederate infirmary Friday night, will be taken to Gilbert this morning for interment.
Mrs. Alewine was from Lexington county and entered the home last September. She had been practically an invalid ever sine her admittance to the home.
Mrs. Alewine was 81 year of age. Mrs. Alewine's husband was a member of Company C, Thirteenth South Carolina.
Mrs. Alewine is survived by one son, Dick Alewine of Lexington and a nephew, also of Lexington county.
