RONALD "CORKY" NARRAMORE
80, of Palo Verde, AZ passed away on May 16, 2013. Corky was born March 12, 1933 at the home of his parents Jack and Mavis Baker Narramore.
He attended Palo Verde Elementary School and graduated from Buckeye Union High School in 1951. He was married to Wanda Nichols of Buckeye on December 6, 1952 and then served two years in the U.S. Army.
After his discharge from the Army, Corky worked the family farm with his father. They also had a cow-calf operation and raised purebred Limousine cattle. He served as District Supervisor for the Buckeye Natural Resource Conservation District for 34 years and in 2000 received the Goodyear Conservation Farmer of the Year Award. He also served as chairman of the Buckeye Water and Conservation Board.
Corkey was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Ernie.
