Lewis H. Lowe was a son of Lewis Albert Lowe and Helen Blanche Gobel. Lewis grew up in Stafford and surrounding areas in Kansas. As a child he was nicknamed Corky. After Lewis finally retired he moved to Puerto Rico. He died of an aneurism after having been hospitalized for two weeks. His ashes were scattered both in Puerto Rico and Kansas. His paternal Grandparents were Herbert P. Lowe of Staffordshire, England and Ellen Josephine Reed.

Lewis seemed like a man of great integrity and certainly a great sense of humor. It was often said that his English gentleman Grandfather had a jovial sense of humor. I had just begun to communicate with Lewis about our mutual ancestors and he shared a few stories with me, both on the phone and in emails. At the time of our communication he was preparing to retire and busy wrapping up loose ends with his work in Texas. He was excited about moving to Puerto Rico. Sadly we were unable to finish our communication.
