The first child born to, Charles Albert and Mary Ellen (Allen) Allen. Martha was named after Mary Ellen's older sister, Martha Permelia (Allen) Marshall. She was born while in the home of Amos and Sarah Arletta (Palmer) "Lettie" Cox, nephew of Charles Albert.The family was staying with Cox family, while Charles built a house on some homesteaded land. She would be one of three, to pass as an infant. There are no records of her burial in Emery County. One may assume, she may be buried on the homesteaded land of Charles. However, city of Ferron indicated there are several unknown graves, in the area.
