Arthur W. Birch, Jr.
Age 90, of Lewes, DE, passed away on June 13, 2013 at home surrounded by his family.
Arthur served in the Army Air Corp. He retired as a switchman for Bell Telephone. Arthur was a longtime member of North Baptist Church in Wilmington and First Baptist Church in Lewes.
Arthur is survived by his wife Elmira Birch, his sons, Arthur W. Birch, III and Daniel Birch, 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 1001 Kings Highway, Lewis, DE 19958. A graveside service will be on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Riverview Cemetery, 33 rd & Market Street, Wilm., DE.
