Anna Mae Ballard, age 68, passed away peacefully in her home with loved ones at her side on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, after a long illness.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Anthony D. (Connie) Long of Hampton, Va. and Kenneth B. (Vickie) Pascley of Alliance; four daughters, Lora Mallard of Montgomery, Ala., Gwendolyn Pascley of Alliance, Tanya Pascley of Citronelle, Ala., and Latia Ballard of Alliance; two brothers, John D. (Betty) Brown of Pritchard, Ala., and the Rev. Michael (Marilyn) Long of Canton; two sisters, Alice (the Rev. Henry) Kirksey and Barbara (Roy) Jones of Alliance; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Anna is preceded in death by her parents; husband, the Rev. Abraham Ballard; and two brothers, Thomas D. Brown and Robert Long Jr.
Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
