Judge Connie S. Price, 55, of Galena, OH and formerly of Brookville, OH, died Friday, June 14, 2013 at her residence. Born on April 11, 1958 in Dayton, OH, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd R. & Margaret L. (Kreitzer) Craig.

Connie was a 1975 graduate of Twin Valley North High School in Lewisburg, OH and went on to begin her career as a registered nurse. She graduated from the Kettering College of Medical Arts in 1978 with an associate's degree in nursing, then went on to receive a bachelor's degree in nursing from Columbia Union College in 1986. She was working in intensive care at Good Samaritan Hospital when she became interested in the law, largely through a concern about patient rights. Connie later graduated from the University Of Dayton School Of Law in 1990, worked in private practice, and served on the U.D Law School Alumni Board. She began her judicial career as an elected county District Court Judge in 1998 and in 2009 was appointed to fill a seat vacated as a Common Pleas Judge.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by step-father: Clarence R. Crabtree in 2005; Sister-in-law: Jacque Craig in 2010.

Survived by her Son & Daughter-in-law: Matthew P. & Amber Price, Galena, OH; Grandson: Parker Price; Sister & Brother-in-law: Shirley (Keith) Fugate, Venice, FL; Brother: Don Craig, Eaton, OH.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 – 11:00 a.m. at the First United Church of Christ, 400 N. Main St., Lewisburg, OH with Rev. David O. Justis officiating. Interment will be held in Sugar Grove Cemetery, Twin Twp., Preble County, OH. Family will receive friends on Monday, June 17, 2013 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH 45338.
