John Thomas Duplonty, Sr., 74, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Monday, June 10, 2013 at his home. John's first love was the Lord Jesus Christ and his second love was his family. He worked hard, just like his Daddy, Clyde. He referred to himself as a jack-of-all-trades and a king of none.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of DeRidder, LA; six daughters and three sons-in-law; brother of Merryville, LA; three sisters; twenty grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Lillie Mae Ashworth Duplonty, wife, Sarah Linda Kerbow Duplonty, sons, John Duplonty, Jr. and Ricky Ray Ashworth; and favorite aunt, Bertie Mae Griffin.
Funeral services were Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Burial follow at Good Hope Cemetery in Singer, LA. Bro. Clyde Snider officiated.
