Robert A. Andrews was a 70 year old farmer at the time of his death. Robert and his wife, Martha "Serepta" Disney-Andrews are buried here. His family moved to Anderson County as a result of the Norris Dam Project. Andrews Cemetery was established? as the family did not move the original gravesites. This was the area of the Andrews Family homestead and original homesites are still visible. Andrews Cemetery is located in the Norris Dam State Park System.
