Julia Goss Funeral Thurs. Afternoon
Funeral services were conducted Thursday for Mrs. Julia Goss who died April 8, 1948, at the home of her son Harry Anderson in LaMarr, Oklahoma. She is a former resident of Maud Rt. one and is the mother of Mrs. Young Ivey.
She was born October 20, 1856 in Kentucky. At the age of 17 she was married to William Anderson and to this union five children were born.
Rev. Jim Glasgow, pastor of the Baptist church officiated with services at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the Ogee Funeral chapel. Interment was in the Cummings cemetery under the direction of the Ogee funeral home.
Survivors included one son, Harry Anderson, LaMarr, and one daughter, Mrs. Mollie Ivy of Maud Rt. one.

As of June 2017 there is no tombstone.
