She was born in Harperville, Man. in 1900.
She was predeceased by her husband John Alfred in 1970 and her son Bruce in 1929. She leaves to mourn four daughters, Audrey and her husband Harry Foster, of Winnipeg. Ruby and her husband Louis Dauphinais of Beausejour, Man., Leona and her husband Ed Dowling of Nova Scotia, Gertrude and her husband Leo Barron of Grosse Isle, Man.; six sons, Eugene, Arnold, Basil, all of Winnipeg, Joe of Hudson Bay, Sask., Raymond of Edmonton, Alberta, John and his wife Elsie of Warren, Man.; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Baker of Missouri, U.S.A., Mrs. Eva Early of Wadena, Sask.; 35 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 14th at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with Rev. Fr. Mention officiating.
The family extends their sincere thanks to Dr. Strachan and the nurses at Grace Hospital.
The cremains will be interred in the family plot at the St. Charles Roman Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, they may make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society, Manitoba Division, 777 Portage Ave.
