She was born in North Adams on September 1, 1927, a daughter of the late Eli and Grace (Bedard) Denno, and attended North Adams schools.
Mrs. Gliwski last worked as an inspector at the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams for 49 years, until her retirement.
She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. She liked to travel, and enjoyed spending time with her immediate and extended family.
Her husband, Walter S. Gliwski, whom she married on August 2, 1947, died on April 3, 2010. She is survived by a daughter, Ann Ahles of Dorchester; Her beloved grandson, Jeremiah Ahles of Boston; and several nieces and nephews, including Nancy Kruzel of Adams, and Gail Bourdon and Francis Bourdon of Cheshire.
She was predeceased by her sister, Jeannette Bourdon.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 19th, at 9:00 AM from the Paciorek Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St. Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams, celebrated by Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, Pastor.
Burial will be in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Agawam, MA.
