Mary Urbanoski, 83, of Brawley passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 of Cancer in Phoenix, AZ.
Mary was born February 8, 1930 in New Castle, Indiana and was married to Bruce T. Urbanoski on November 28, 1992 in Brawley, CA.
Mary worked 30 years for the Brawley Elementary School District and was also was President for the California School Teachers Association for 8 years.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Edward R. Church.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce Urbanoski; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Melinda Church; grandchildren, Courtney and Meghan Church all of Phoenix, AZ; brother, Jack Crawley and sister, Barbara Goforth both of Indiana.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 6 p.m. at Frye Chapel in Brawley. Service will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 9 a.m. at 1st United Methodist Church in Brawley and will be officiated by Pastor Nelson L. Castorillo.
Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. at River View Cemetery in Brawley.
