Don Rogers, 63, passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 14, 2013 at 4 AM in his Warsaw, Indiana home.

Don was born in Warsaw March 18, 1950 to Merle E. and Arlene J. (Yarger) Rogers. He was a 1968 graduate of Warsaw High School.

He served in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged at Lowry Air Force Base, Colorado November 21, 1969.

On August 15, 1971 in Warsaw he and Barbara Young were joined in holy matrimony.

Don was a sign coordinator for Kosciusko County Highway Department for 30 years retiring in 2004. He also worked at the Warsaw Big R for 7 years.

Don was a member of North Winona Church of the Brethren, American Legion Post #49 and the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Association. He liked John Deere tractors and enjoyed golf and Nascar - Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. were his favorite drivers. He was a workaholic who displayed a great work ethic. Although not always spoken openly, he was a very caring man who had a big heart for helping others. He was a devoted and loving husband and dad. He was always ready to help his children and would go the extra mile for them. Don always told them to be careful when they left the house and worried about them until they returned home. He loved spending time with his family. He especially loved time with his grandchildren and now has become their guardian angel.

Those who loved him and will miss him the most are his daughter and son-in-law: Michele and Michael Psalidas of South Bend, Indiana; son: Brian L. Rogers, Warsaw; 3 grandchildren: Alan, Psalidas and Brycelyn Psalidas, South Bend and Autumn Rogers of Warsaw; his mother: Arlene J. Rogers of Fort Worth, Texas; 2 brothers: Robert S. Rogers, Fort Worth and Tony Rogers of Tucson, Arizona; and sister: Lucy Aitken also of Tucson.

Missing her from the moment she passed away on March 9, 2009, he now is reunited with the love of his life, his wife, Barbara. Also preceding him in death is his father, Merle Rogers (October 19, 1992).
