Services for Mrs. Lucy Wallace will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 6, 2013 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Reverend Danny Garner officiating. Burial will be in Lone Pine Cemetery, Bentley.
The family requests that visitation be observed Wednesday at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will continue Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
Mrs. Wallace, 91, of Bentley passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at her residence.
During her working career she worked at Pinecrest State School, retiring in 1983 with 18 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Suveil W. Wallace; sons, Billy W. Wallace and Glen Ray Wallace; parents, Walter Green and Annie Viola Gathright Garner.
Those left to cherish her memory include her grandchildren, Adelle Lynn Wallace, David W. Wallace, Amy Whitehead, Huey S. Wallace and Glen Ray Kent; great grandchildren, Logan McLaughlin and Chance David Austin; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Logan McLaughin, Huey Wallace, Doug Nelson, Mike Nelson, Austin Nelson, Adam Nelson and Johnny Nelson.
